Club chair has responsibility for:

• Ensuring that the club is affiliated to British Cycling and any other governing bodies relevant to the club
• Ensuring that sufficient committee meetings are held to manage the club efficiently
• Ensuring that the club maintains British Cycling’s Equality Policy
• Maintaining regular contact with club members
• Running the club and committee in a proper manner, to the benefit of all members and associates
• Enabling club volunteers to access training courses as required
• Liaising with all sections of the club and overseeing all club activities
• Ensuring that there is a structure for planning and managing events organised by the club
• Ensuring that there is effective and appropriate liaison between the club and outside agencies with which it comes in contact e.g. British Cycling, Cycling Time Trials, N&DCA, Sponsors

 Club vice chair has responsibility for:

• Assuming all the roles designated above in the absence of the Club Chair
