A Racing Spectacular!!!
Exciting Developments in the organisation of Northants Cycle Race Association (NCRA) has seen the formulation of teams and the spectacle that is Road Racing for this years handicapped races.
If you would like to support the teams from Welland Valley CC what better place to do so than on a course we are all familiar with and local to us.
The first race is on our very own Sulby 10 course, starting on the road from Welford to Naseby, left to Sibbertoft at Naseby, through Sibbertoft and past the gliding club, left at the T-junction to the Wharf Pub at Welford, left to start the circuit again with the finish line up the hill just short of the first bridge over the A14.
(This is different to that shown on the NCRA website)

There is also the possibility of a third team/composite team, details of which are still to be finalised.
The date for the first race is below and the start time is 2.00pm
March 3 Husbands Bosworth/Sulby Course (WVCC to organise)
What better way to watch the event than at one of the strategic marshalling positions and whilst there you could wave a big red flag!
I Need Marshals and would love to hear from anyone within the club who would like to give this a go (if you are new to marshalling, training will be provided).
Also, from any rider of the later series who offered their services in their initial response.
I am also in need of an additional driver (must be a BC licence holder).
